Hot Work Permit Program
The purpose of this Hot Work Permit Program is to outline minimum procedures, training,
equipment, and work practices to help prevent adverse incidents to UW personnel, students,
faculty, visitors, contractors, and property.
Hot work includes burning, welding, or a similar operation capable of initiating fires
or explosions.
