Critical Minerals Leadership Academy

The Critical Minerals Leadership Academy (CMLA) will assemble future leaders with diverse backgrounds to build a strong domestic critical minerals network and contribute to the build out of critical minerals industries. Applications are now being accepted for graduate students and early career professionals with U.S. Citizenship.
 
Application Deadline: May 23, 2025 | Initial review of early applications will begin April 30, 2025.
 

Critical Mineral Leadership Academy 2025

The inaugural Critical Minerals Leadership Academy (CMLA 2025) will take place August 3-10, 2025 in Laramie, Wyoming. The program is sponsored by the US Department of Energy and hosted by the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources. Applications will be accepted from graduate students and early career professionals invested in critical minerals research and development across the supply chain, including those working in geology, engineering, data analytics, business, community engagement, social science, law, policy, and other disciplines.

The CMLA 2025 program will consist of lectures, workshops, and field excursions in Wyoming, highlighting conventional and unconventional critical mineral research and development.

Applicants must have U.S. Citizenship. ​
