Office Associate
Daniel Brooks brings experience and energy to his role as Office Associate at the Science and Math Teaching Center. Originally from Florida, Daniel has educational experience in linguistics and computer science at the University of Florida, where he developed excellent communication skills and technological abilities.
Before joining SMTC, Daniel served with the Florida Conservation Corps where he helped manage the park ecosystem and did guest outreach to explain its unique natural features. He has also worked as a substitute teacher, giving him personal insight into the challenges teachers face day-to-day with classroom management and curriculum planning.
Daniel is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geology at the University of Wyoming, and he plans to use that background to help promote math and science curriculum across the state. His role at SMTC includes managing daily operations, assisting with event coordination, and supporting initiatives that advance science and mathematics education.
