Staff Recognition Day 2026
We are pleased to announce this year's Staff Recognition Day! Make plans to come to the UW Union on Monday, April 13 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. There will be crafts, food, awards, and raffles! Staff have 2 hours of release time to attend this event.
SWAG
The first 600 attendees to attend Staff Recognition day will get a swag bag. In the canvas tote bag will be a brochure with all the information about the day and some goodies from staff senate!
All attendees will receive two tickets. One will be to claim your snack and the other will be to put in a raffle of your choice.
ACTIVITIES
With the assistance of University of Wyoming Innovation Network (UWIN) staff will get to decorate their swag tote bag and get to decorate a door hanger!
We will also have a photo booth available with a movie theme backdrop and props. Come get a souvenir polaroid-like photo of you and your coworkers!
FOOD
Provided by UW Catering staff will get to choose between a burger or pizza as their main dish, along with fruit and veggies for sides and cake for dessert!
Staff will also get to use their entry ticket to claim either a full size candy bar or a bag of popcorn!
RAFFLES
Thanks to our generous donors from around the Laramie Community we have 15+ raffle baskets for staff to put their name in for! Raffles winners will be drawn at the end of the event in the Yellowstone ballroom at 1:45 pm on the day of the event! You must be present to win.
