Join us in recognizing excellence and spreading joy through these enjoyable events.

Staff Recognition Day 2025

We are pleased to announce this year's Staff Recognition Day! Make plans to come out to the Arena Auditorium on Monday, April 7 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm.  There will be events, relaxation, and raffles!  Staff have 2.5 hours of release time to attend this event.

Years of Service

Staff Senate has recently compiled the Years of Service List for Staff Recognition Day 2024. The following UW employees were honored for their years of service to the University at Staff Recognition Day: 2024 Years of Service

The Years of Service Awards recognizes those who have dedicated 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 years. Please see the YOS Instructions on how to access and check your own years of service.  If your milestone year of service falls after April 16, 2024, you will be honored during the next year's staff Recognition Day in 2025.

Holiday Market

Welcome to the Holiday Market! The Holiday Market will take place Friday, December 13th, 2024 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm at the UW Conference Center - attached to the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie. Each year, this enchanting event brings together a diverse array of talented artisans, showcasing their unique creations just in time for the holiday season. Please come and knock some items off your Christmas shopping lists, this is an opportunity to browse creations and products from over 65 vendors!

The planning for this event begins as early as August. If you're an artisan interested in joining our vibrant community of vendors, we welcome you to reach out to the Staff Senate President at sspresident@uwyo.edu to be put on the mailing list. Get ready to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit and discover the perfect gifts for your loved ones!
