Crisis intervention for students

If you or someone you know is in crisis or contemplating suicide, please contact the Crisis Intervention support team immediately. Crisis Intervention & Support is available to students at any time. Call (307) 766-2187 during regular business hours (M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm), and the receptionist will get you connected. For after-hours crises, call (307) 766-8989. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: At any time or any place, students can also call or text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org. They will connect a person in crisis to compassionate care and support for any mental health or substance use-related distress. Anyone—a person in crisis, or someone supporting a person in crisis can reach 988 in the United States through any land line, cell phone, and Voice over Internet device.
