Math Summer Bridge
By participating in the Math-Intensive Summer Bridge, students:
- Enter the program with a math ACT score between 17-26 or SAT score between 470-630.
- Take one intensive 4-week math class and enroll in a concurrent math class in the fall.
- Take a university-required first-year seminar.
- Earn 6 credits when they complete the program.
- Have the opportunity to enroll in a higher-level math class in the fall semester which will help them progress faster in their degree program.
- Live on campus with a small group of other bridge participants, building a community and support network.
- Learn skills and habits for college that lead to high success rates in the first year.
- Build key relationships with faculty, peer mentors, and staff.
- Have fun exploring Laramie’s beautiful outdoors and local activities.
- Have a higher likelihood of staying in college than their peers.

This application is separate from the University of Wyoming Admissions Application and the Summer Housing Application.

Next Steps
- After we receive your application, we will send you an email with a link to pay your $75 seat fee. This will confirm your enrollment and save you a seat in the program.
- Complete the Summer Housing Application. This is separate from the Summer Bridge Application. Contact Residence Life and Dining Services at 307-766-3175 with questions.
- Fill out the 2025-2026 FAFSA. Keep in mind, this is a different application than the FAFSA for your fall semester (2026-2027). Contact Financial Aid at 307-766-2116 with any questions.
