Global Paths Start at UW
Thinking about where an international studies degree can take you? Hear from UW alum Emily Wood, who double majored in International Studies and German before teaching high school in Mozambique with the Peace Corps. Her study abroad experiences at UW helped prepare her for the adventure of a lifetime.
"I was able to put together all of my experiences throughout UW to be prepared for the Peace Corp. My first study abroad opportunity at UW was a faculty-led study abroad where I went with a group of UW students to Japan, and I went Indonesia over two different summers with two different programs."
