What Is Kinesiology & Health Promotion?
UW teaches K&HP students everything they need in preparation for many careers in healthcare and allied health. With research opportunities in various labs, everyone can be hands-on.

Faculty in the K&HP program are experts in their respective fields and cover many
areas of healthcare.
To name a couple, Dr. Boyi Dai researches injury biomechanics and served as an associate
editor for Sports Biomechanics. Dr. Danielle Bruns conducts cardiovascular research
and focuses on therapies for cardiac disease treatment. Since our K&HP faculty are
interested in a wide span of research, students have the opportunity to closely explore
unique areas in depth.
