Jordan Anderson is a sophomore/junior at the University of Wyoming studying Agriculture Communications and serving as President of the UW Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapter. With a passion for photography and communications, she plans to advocate for the agriculture industry and bridge the gap between producers and consumers. Jordan is also a member of the Wyoming Collegiate Cattleman's Association.
Mary Elaine Algeo is an undergraduate senior at the University of Wyoming, majoring in Microbiology with a minor in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and Management. She is a current member of the Wyoming Collegiate Cattle Association and the Wyoming Pre-Veterinary Club and was a member of the Wyoming Collegiate Farm Bureau and the University of Wyoming Food Science Club. Mary is currently an employee at the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory, where she worked in the Virology, Necropsy-Receiving, and now Parasitology Departments. She is an undergraduate research student in Dr. Jonathan Fox's Lab studying Canine Dysautonomia.
Elizabeth Lungren is a University of Wyoming junior majoring in Molecular Biology. She serves as the Vice President of Outreach for the Undergraduate Research Coalition and Secretary for the Food Science Club. Elizabeth is also a member of the Wyoming Collegiate Cattle Association and Wyoming Research Scholars Program. She wants to encourage current and prospective students to join this agricultural community and introduce them to the wide array of opportunities this college offers.
Vaishnavi Bhavsar is a junior studying Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. As a CALSNR ambassador, she aims to help those interested in pursuing healthcare professions and utilize the resources available to them. Along with being an ambassador, Vaishnavi is a member of the pre-dental club, a microbiology TA, and a member of the HEART Lab.
Leah Allen is a University of Wyoming junior majoring in Agricultural Communications. Her passion for the beef industry and representing agriculture in the public's eye began while growing up on an active cattle ranch. She serves as an officer for many clubs at the University of Wyoming, including the Wyoming Collegiate Cattle Association, Collegiate Farm Bureau, and the National Society of Leadership & Success.
Lucas Wall is a sophomore undergraduate student majoring in molecular biology and a part of the undergraduate research scholars' program, a TA for microbiology, and a volunteer for Laramie Connections. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, engaging in pickup sports, or hanging out with family and friends. As a CALSNR ambassador, Lucas wants to encourage other students to take advantage of the opportunities that the college has to offer, from experience in the field to academic scholarships.
Gracie Mae Keiter is a senior in Agricultural Business with a concentration in Livestock Business Management and a minor in Animal Science. As a CALSNR ambassador, she aims to help students find their place in the agricultural community and make the most of their time at the University of Wyoming. Gracie is also a member of the Livestock Judging Team, Collegiate Farm Bureau, and Collegiate Wool Growers.
Elisabeth Dooley is a senior graduating in Spring 2025, majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science and concentrating in Pre-Vet and Production, with a minor in Agriculture Business. After attending Casper College, she transferred to the University of Wyoming in Fall 2022 and became an ambassador to help incoming first-year students and talk to prospective students. Elisabeth spends most of her time working as an undergraduate for the Research and Extension Office, as a Transfer Cowboy Coach, and as a Chemistry TA. Elisabeth enjoys hiking, animals, movies, and spending time with friends and family in her free time.
Meredith Halweg is a senior at the University of Wyoming studying Agricultural Business- Farm and Ranch Management with a minor in Economics. She is currently serving in the At Large position for CALSNR Ambassadors, the President of Wyoming Collegiate Cattle Association, serving on the officer team for the new MANRRS chapter, and a member of Collegiate Wool Growers and Collegiate Farm Bureau. As a CALSNR ambassador, Meredith wants to help other students find their community, grow their passion for the agricultural community, and make a difference on campus by meeting with legislators, county boards, national groups, and other organizations to improve the learning and well-being of students at the University.
Hadlee Hollinger is a senior at the University of Wyoming studying Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and working as a veterinary technician at Gem City Veterinary Services. Actively engaged in UW and CALSNR community, she is the secretary for the Pre-Vet Club and Women's Club Soccer and a member of WCCA, Collegiate Wool Growers, and Wyoming Stock Growers. As a CALSNR ambassador, Hadlee wants to encourage new and prospective students to engage in numerous clubs, university activities, and community involvement to help broaden their horizons.
Samantha Hook is a senior studying Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management while minoring in Animal Science, Soil Science, and GIST. She is the Range Club's treasurer and a member of the College Ambassadors for the College of Agriculture, Life Sciences, and Natural Resources. Samantha enjoys advocating and sharing her passion for the agricultural community and wants to help students navigate college while highlighting the opportunities available within the CALSNR.
