Douglas

The project constructed at Douglas during the 2010 State Fair is a modified straight hoop design 20-ft x 50-ft with an 11-ft center height. The main structural components of the High Tunnel and the raised beds are made of a Wyoming made biocomposite product (Natures Composites) consisting of recycled plastic and wheat straw.
This project features a solar powered attic fan and temperature controlled vents to assist with air flow. The sides also roll-up for additional ventilation.
