The Kemerers have invested in a variety of Wyoming businesses over the years that all play a critical role in the tourism, hospitality, and outdoor recreation industries in the state of Wyoming:
The Kemmerers have also supported the University of Wyoming through:
- The John J. Kemmerer Jr. Scholarship Program

A Transformational Gift
In fall 2024, the Kemmerers donated $5 million to the WORTH Initiative, founded by the Wyoming Innovation Partnership, to ensure its sustainability for years to come. Now known as the Jay Kemmerer WORTH Institute, this program serves as a resource for relevant industry research, a bridge to connect students and working professionals to industry opportunities, and a hub to bring together industry professionals.
