The goal of the Wyoming Search and Rescue Conference is to bring together Wyoming’s search and rescue community of law enforcement officers, SAR coordinators and volunteers, and other emergency management professionals. Building relationships, sharing knowledge and experience, and growing statewide support for SAR efforts are cornerstones of this annual event.

10:15 am - Open Forum: Possible Development of a Wyoming Search and Rescue Subcommittee through WASCOP
Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police, Wyoming Search and Rescue Council, Montana Law Enforcement
11:00 am - Workshop Session: What would a SAR subcommittee through WASCOP look like?
This conversation needs input from county sheriffs, SAR commanders, and volunteers. Come ready to contribute to a workshop session on what this could look like for search and rescue in Wyoming!

- Intermountain Health Helicopter Demonstration
- Technology Information Session
2:30 pm - Practical skills competition with Carbon County Search and Rescue
Teams of 4+ are encouraged to sign up during the conference. Teams will compete in a timed event that will incorporate the skills below:
- Following GPS/OnyX coordinates
- Man tracking/following disturbances to lead you to victim
- Patient assessment/packaging patient
- Extrication and transport of patient
- Patient handoff to EMS

Join fellow attendees at Hotel Wolf after the conference (cash bar, appetizers provided).
Registration
Registration costs $60 per person and includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday. If you purchase three registrations, you get a fourth for free! If the cost for registration provides a barrier to attendance, please reach out to Taylor Kruger (tkruger@uwyo.edu).
