DECEMBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - 2024- 25 Collaborative Research Project The goal of this program is to support research projects that engage University and Wyoming Community College researchers and students in projects with the potential to produce publishable results and develop into fundable programs at NIH and other federal agencies. Full Proposals are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024.

DECEMBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - 2024-25 Graduate Research AssistantshipThe purpose of the Wyoming INBRE Graduate Assistantship is to provide support for training Ph.D. students in biomedically related sciences. Applicants for the award must be qualified to advise Ph.D. students. Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Monday, January 12, 2024.

DECEMBER 2023: Dr. Bret Freudenthal from the University of Kansas Medical Center gives a talk titled “Visualizing DNA Repair at the Atomic Level” on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at UW Casper, University Union Building, Room 421.

NOVEMBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - Request for Letters of Interest - WY INBRE bridge funding opportunity due by 5:00 pm on Monday, November 27, 2023 in order to explore the possibility of providing bridge-type funding to investigators who are actively competing for grants from the NIH or other major funding agencies focused on human health and disease.

OCTOBER 2023: WY INBRE Network Fall Retreat - Thursday, 10/26 - Saturday 10/28 30 students and 20 faculty members from across the Wyoming INBRE network visit the UW campus to tour biomedical research facilities, talk with recruiters and collaborate with their peers.

OCTOBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - 2023-24 WY INBRE Research Network Equipment Supplement Proposals due 5pm November 10 for research/teaching equipment (generally not to exceed $20,000)

OCTOBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY -  Montana INBRE / RAIN Technology Access Grants 2023-2024 Priority review deadline is November 15, 2023, then rolling through mid-January 2024 (or until available funds are exhausted)

OCTOBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY -  2023 WY INBRE 4 Pilot Grant Program - invited full proposal Letter of intent due 10/6, Invited full proposal submissions due 11/13

SEPTEMBER 2023: FUNDING OPPORTUNITY - RAIN Collaborative Research Projects Pre-proposals due October 13, 2023, Invitations to submit a full proposal by October 31, 2023, Full proposals due February 2, 2024 (11:59 pm PDT)

SEPTEMBER 2023: UW INBRE Fall 2023-Spring 2024 Undergraduate Research Program - research proposal/application and faculty letters due ONLINE FRIDAY September 29, 2023 5pm MDT. Fall-Spring Award is $2400 (160 hours at $15/hr). APPLY ONLINE.
