The University of Wyoming is one of 24 institutions funded by the National Institutes for Health (NIH) IDeA Networks for Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Program. INBRE funding is intended to enhance biomedical research capacity, expand and strengthen the research capabilities of biomedical faculty, and provide access to biomedical resources for promising undergraduate students throughout the eligible states.
The AC is responsible for developing and implementing the vision for growing the Wyoming
network's biomedical research capacity, and supports the other two cores, as well

The goal of the DRPP is to build a collaborative interdisciplinary research team among
the network institutions to develop and apply new targets and tools to address intractable

The goals of the DSC are to foster data science activities among the network institutions
and offer a broad range of services to the Wyoming students and researchers in biomedical
and biological sciences disciplines. DSC acheives these goals by:
A continuing focus of Wyoming INBRE is providing opportunities for students to participate in hands-on biomedical research and provide research and teaching support to faculty at our state's community colleges. Learn more>
