RESEARCH INTERESTS
The High Altitude Exercise Aging Research Team (Heart Lab) is interested in understanding
physiological and molecular mechanisms of heart disease. Ongoing projects study diabetic
heart disease, heart failure in the aging female, hypoxia in muscle, and circadian
mechanisms of cardiac function.
