Research Experience

Dr. Wodahl joined the University of Wyoming in 2007 after completing his PhD at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Before going back to school to work on his doctorate, he was employed for the Wyoming Department of Corrections as a probation and parole officer for approximately 8 years.  Dr. Wodahl’s research interests focus on the areas of prisoner reentry, the use of sanctions and incentives in community supervision, and rural issues in the criminal justice system.  His research has been published in numerous outlets, including Criminal Justice & Behavior, Journal of Criminal Justice, Crime & Delinquency, & Criminal Justice Policy Review.
