The University of Wyoming Alumni Association’s mission is to foster a spirit of loyalty and fraternity among graduates and former students and to promote the general welfare, development, achievement, and honor of the university.
A UWAA membership effort leading to our 120th anniversary in 2015. We are calling upon our alumni to join with our Board and staff to assist us in expanding our membership base allowing the UWAA to better serve the University and our alumni by offering new relevant services and programs. We have 111,000 living alumni with 16,000+ of them having expressed their pride in UW through a membership and believe in the services the UWAA provides to UW alumni and UW. The UWAA manages a scholarship program that serves the university, by encouraging commendable graduating high school seniors and transfer students to obtain their college education. The UWAA provides four-year scholarships and single year awards to more than 50 deserving students with a commitment of over $100,000 annually. UWAA has awarded more than $1,000,000 in scholarships since 1980 and the program continues to grow. Alumni and friends have been donating scholarship funds to help students attend UW since 1906.
