Welcome to UW Army ROTC
Our cadets are well ahead of Cadet Command averages in multiple areas. This last year UW performed exceptionally well finishing number 1 in the region of 36 schools and in the top percentage of cadet command with reference to leadership scores and percentages in several categories. Additionally, we shattered a departmental record by sending more Cadets to additional training over the summer than in any previously recorded summer. We put an emphasis on GPA, fitness and having fun. The University tutoring center is first class and....it's free. The local area offers great hunting, fishing, skiing and rock climbing.
At the University of Wyoming, we teach Cadets what it takes to be a successful leader in both the military and civilian world and have both in our alumni ranks. In addition to our ROTC curriculum, we also offer opportunities to go to the Army 10 Miler, Bataan Marathon, Ranger Challenge and to participate in our own unique Posse Club that conducts, amongst other things, search and rescue operations with the local sheriff's department. We have the second lowest out of state tuition and the lowest in state tuition for the premium quality of education you want to get at a University.
In short....the best training at the best University in the best state......we have it all. Army ROTC at the University of Wyoming is unique and challenging. It is one of the oldest ROTC institution in the country with outstanding, individualized instruction. The goal and purpose of the program is to prepare our students to be the next military and civilian leaders of our nation. Do you have the courage to take the challenge?
