Minors in Art

Students may elect one of the eight areas of emphasis in Art: Art History, Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Metalsmithing, or Sculpture.

Students must earn at least a "C" in each course included in the elected area to earn a minor in art.

Students should plan on a minimum of five semesters to complete an art minor due to upper-division course prerequisites.

Art History Minor

Total Credits: 24 hours
12 hours must be exclusive to the minor and not used in the major
