November 21, 2019 ‖ The University of Wyoming Art Museum will launch the holiday season with the 27th annual Happy Holidays Laramie Festival of Trees Dec. 5-7.
October 31, 2019 ‖ Trey Duvall, an installation and performance artist, will visit the University of Wyoming Nov. 11-15.
He will give an artist talk Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 6-7 p.m. in Room 111 of the UW Visual Arts Building. UW students and community members will perform “Work Flow 004” in collaboration with the artist Thursday, Nov. 14, from 7-8 p.m. in the lobby of the Visual Arts Building.
October 28, 2019 ‖ The opening address -- “Race, Gender and Empire: the Strange Career of Woman Suffrage in Wyoming” -- is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the UW Art Museum. It will be delivered by Virginia Scharff, distinguished professor emeritus of history at the University of New Mexico.
September 25, 2019 ‖ Vacation packages, artwork and jewelry are among auction items that will be part of the University of Wyoming Art Museum’s 25th annual gala fundraiser Friday, Oct. 4.
September 17, 2019 ‖ Cuban-born taxidermy artist Enrique Gomez de Molina and American technology artist Troy Abbott will visit the University of Wyoming Oct. 1-5.
