Greg Brown

Greg Brown joined A&S in August 2013.  He oversees the following divisions: Biological Sciences, Fine Arts, Humanities, and Mathematical Sciences.  Associate dean Brown also oversees two support units: WySAC and the Division of Research Support.  Before joining the Dean's Office, he was Department Head in Botany.

Associate Dean Brown's main responsibilities to the college are:

  • Graduate assistantships
  • Track and assist with start-up negotiations during searches
  • Central Committee
  • Basic Research Grants (BRG)
  • Sabbatical Leaves and International Travel Grants
  • Liaison to the UW Foundation
  • Liaison to Vice President of Research's Office

Robert Schuhmann

Robert Schuhmann joined A&S in September 2013.  Robert is the Budget Director of the College of Arts & Sciences.  He is also the  department head in Political Science.

Associate Dean Schuhmann's main responsibilities to the college are:

  • Budgets and budget planning
  • Budget funding requests from departments and programs
  • Liaison with dean about any additional funding requests
  • Track and assist with start-up negotiations during searches
  • Summer School and Outreach School
  • A&S Scholarship awards
  • Feebook requests

Audrey Shalinsky

Audrey Shalinsky joined A&S in July 2006. She oversees the following divisions: Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Interdisciplinary.  Associate Dean Shalinsky also oversees two non-academic units: Fine Arts Outreach and Cultural Programs.  Before joining the Dean's Office, she was Department Head in Anthropology for nine years.   

Associate Dean Shalinsky's main responsibilities to the college are:

  • Assessment of student learning
  • Classroom scheduling
  • Graduate education
  • Space and maintenance
  • Course-related issues
  • Liaison to the College of Education and the Wyoming School-University Partnership
  • Academic dishonesty, grades, and adverse decisions
  • Facilitator for A&S Committees: Teaching, Tenure & Promotion
  • Student issues: academic dishonesty, grade appeals, complaints by and about students
