Research Statement
My expertise is in active remote sensing in general and mm-wave radars in particular. My research is concentrated on signal processing of radar data, development of algorithms for radar data analysis, and development of radar products from radar measurements of atmospheric processes.
Current Projects
- Development and application of an 8-mm airborne radar (Ka-band Precipitation radar, KPR) as a precipitation and cloud physics research instrument
- Development and application of a 3-mm airborne radar (Wyoming Cloud Radar, WCR) as a cloud physics research instrument
- Development of radar data processing and data analysis software
