College of Engineering and Applied Science

Michael Pishko

Dean Michael Pishko

As the dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science, my goal has been to make our college one of the preeminent engineering schools in the West and in the nation. We are positioned to make great strides in areas like innovation and entrepreneurship. We have many game-changing projects under way, including the Engineering Education and Research Building (EERB), which broke ground in fall 2016, and the High Bay Research Facility, set for completion in 2017.

We have a mission to serve our students in areas like developing critical thinking skills and realizing unique solutions to the nation's pressing issues. We’ve got the faculty and administrators in place to realize the vision of the Tier-1 Engineering Initiative, and our students continue to excel in the classroom and research laboratories. I hope you’ll come aboard to help us realize our vision.
