How may we assist you?
The Central Scheduling Office is the primary point of contact for all departments, groups, and individuals, who are interested in scheduling the use of facilities and space at the University of Wyoming. With a centralized scheduling process we are able to provide UW and the public an efficient and effective service for scheduling classes, activities and events.
Many departments at UW are affected by the scheduling of events, whether indoors, outdoors, on a weekend or during the evening. We work to assist people who would like to schedule their events on campus in reserving the necessary space and connecting them with other helpful or necessary UW departments. Whether you would like to schedule an event in the Wyoming Union or book space in a room elsewhere on campus, the Central Scheduling office will assist you and direct you to the right resources.
What we schedule
When it comes to scheduling, academic classes are our first priority. In cooperation with the Registrar's Office, Central Scheduling is responsible for running the academic class schedule every semester.
Ad Hoc Events:
After the academic schedule is in place, Central Scheduling fulfills space requests for anything from class reviews and thesis defenses to department meetings and RSO events, on a priority scheduling basis. Outside users are always welcome to request the use of space with the knowledge that a fee may be applied.
Want to have an event outside? Central Scheduling can reserve Prexy's Pasture, the green areas around campus, and fraternity/sorority mall for you. We can also help in arranging for tables and any other needs you might have for your reservation.
Central Scheduling handles approvals for alcohol requests and noise permits (Uni Reg 2-178.3.g.ii). Please contact Crystal Bennett at firstname.lastname@example.org or 766-6717 if you have questions.
