Sandy partnered with Coffeen Elementary School, and just wrapped up a "Family Night" series of classes.  Classes were held at the Senior Senior on Monday or Wednesday evening.  There were usually 4 children and 4 parents who came to the classes.  Every participant was eager to learn and looked forward to what they were going to cook at each class. At the end of each class, participants would get to sample the foods they had made and would interact and discuss what they had made, how they made it and what they thought of the NEW recipes!

Among the many recipes the class got to prepare and sample, their favorites were the Master Mixes, expecially Master Meat Sloppy Joes!

"The lasagna recipe was a winner.  It was a huge rousing success at my house.  Usually my husband does not like new cookbooks, but the Cent$ible Nutrition Cookbook has been a hit with him.

I made the sloppy joes.  He said they were the best sloppy joes he has ever had in his whole life. 

I loved all of the “master mixes”.  The peanut butter cookies were really good too!"
