Tree give-away, indoor nature walk to celebrate Arbor Day in Cody - More than 2,000 trees will be given away and a kid’s indoor nature walk with a visit from Smokey Bear are part of the Arbor Day celebration in Cody Saturday, April 26.

Pollinators, trees topics of Cody brown bag sessions - Pollinator and tree information are brown bag topics this month at the Park County Library in Cody. Park County University of Wyoming Extension horticulturist Bobbie Holder is the presenter. 

Grand opening celebrates QEP Energy’s land, building donation to 4-H - Gov. Matt Mead is among those scheduled to speak at the grand opening near Pinedale of land and facilities valued at $400,000 donated by QEP Energy to Sublette County 4-H.

Extension bulletin guides successful cut sunflower production - Sunflower growth and harvest in Wyoming is explored in a new University of Wyoming Extension bulletin.“A Wyoming growers’ reference guide to cut sunflowers,” B-1253, provides in-depth information about growing environment, water, temperature, light requirements and the impact of cultivar variety.
