Get your club involved! The National 4-H Science Day is October 5th and youth from all over the country will be engaged in solving real world problems. This year the experiment is a hands-on engineering design challenge that explores drones including learning about flight dynamics, remote sensing, and flight controls. Check it out and register your group activity to learn by doing!
Setting goals, measuring progress and growth, and reflecting on failures and successes are a part of the 4-H project experience. Keeping a record of annual experiences is done through a 4-H Portfolio. Adult volunteers may remember them as being called project “record books”. Today they expand on the club learning experiences including leadership and citizenship. To access, and for details, go here- 4-H Portfolio.
Join 4-H! The 4-H year begins October 1, 2016. Create a family account. Existing 4-H members and volunteers can begin to get "signed up" again. New volunteers and new members can join by creating an account as well, and become enrolled to get the "low-down" on what's going on in your neck of Wyoming. Join here!
