Description and Story Telling: Would you like to increase your vocabulary, practice appropriate times frames (tenses), use more transitions words (connectors) and become overall more fluent?  Make it a daily habit to describe an object, a person, a process and/or to tell something that happened to you or you are planning to do to somebody who wants to listen. Hint: Your cellphone’s recording device ALWAYS wants to listen! No excuses - this practice also helps you reach the Advanced level of English proficiency.

Memorize and practice new vocabulary in a phrase (not as single words). Watch this interesting video to get to know about the benefits of learning vocabulary this way. (It also helps with grammar!)

Use a dictionary that marks English word stress. Most online dictionaries have a sound feature to listen and IMITATE the correct pronunciation and intonation (for ex. Dictionary.com).

When reading, make it a habit to look up unknown words to learn their pronunciation/ intonation right away. Repeat the words out loud!

Create a free account (for a limited amount of time) and use all the great language learning features of this program. I recommend the short videos that invite you to imitate native speakers sentence by sentence (you can also record yourself) and the pronunciation videos that show you precisely how to pronounce all English sounds.
