The University is committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and non-threatening environment for its faculty, staff, students, contractors, and visitors, and will address and resolve all complaints of sexual misconduct.  Pursuant to UW Regulation 4-2 (Discrimination and Harassment) and UW Regulation 4-3 (Title IX and Sexual Misconduct), sexual misconduct is expressly prohibited and will not be tolerated.  Sexual misconduct incorporates a range of behaviors including dating violence, domestic violence, hostile environment sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, stalking and any other conduct of a sexual nature that is nonconsensual.

All reports should be brought to the University’s Equal Opportunity Report and Response Office. The University has specific policies and procedures in place to address complaints of discrimination, including complaints of sexual misconduct. Discriminatory acts can also be the subject of complaints to the Department of Education (Office for Civil Rights), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Wyoming Fair Employment Program, or the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.

Reports against students are handled in accordance with procedures set forth in the Student Code of Conduct. Reports against employees are handled in accordance with procedures set forth in the Employee Handbook.
