About Our People

Researcher and Facility Director, Brad Carr, has over 20 years of expertise applying near-surface geophysics instrumentation to finding and delineating sub-surface targets in a multitude of diverse geologic environments and climates. His efforts at the University of Wyoming currently include: imaging the structural controls of geothermal systems in Yellowstone National Park; studying water infiltration in fracture-dominated reservoirs in the Laramie Mountains; collaborating in a national NSF funded program called, Critical Zone Observatories, where the geophysical focus is water in different weathering environments.
