Converse County Longitudinal Assessment

The Ruckelshaus Institute and the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wyoming have partnered with the Bureau of Land Management and Converse County Commissioners to develop a longitudinal study of the socioeconomic impacts of oil and gas development on the people and economy of Converse County, Wyoming.

As part of this project, the Ruckelshaus Institute is conducting an assessment to identify and explore stakeholder interests, concerns, and opinions about oil and gas development, including effects on quality of life. The assessment will explore the discourse around oil and gas development to identify and explain themes across stakeholder responses.
