Educational Leadership (Assistant Professor)
Seeking one tenure-track faculty member to join a team that offers master's and doctoral level educational leadership programs in traditional and distance delivery formats. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarly activity, service, and advising; involvement in professional organizations; demonstrated commitment to a research and publication agenda; integration of instructional technologies in teaching-learning environments, and willingness to travel for teaching. Requirements for job consideration include an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership, Administration, Policy Studies, or a closely related discipline prior to appointment date; at least two years full-time experience as a K-12 educational leader; evidence of excellence in teaching; and evidence of scholarly writing and research. We will consider all qualified applicants and are particularly interested in those who have expertise in the following areas: organizational leadership, instructional leadership, budget management, and superintendent – board relations. In addition we are looking for applicants who have experience or interest in using distance methods for course delivery. University of Wyoming
The University of Wyoming is a nationally recognized public research university focused on students who seek personalized learning in the Rocky Mountain environment. Laramie, a town of about 27,000 people provides both the milieu of a University with approximately 13,000 students, and a distinctive identity as an important city in a predominantly rural, sparsely populated state.
