The 2017 University of Wyoming Summer High School Institute (HSI) will be held June 4-24 on the Laramie campus. Once again the program will provide the opportunity for many of Wyoming's finest students to participate with UW faculty and staff in an enriching university experience.
The program's success begins with your efforts in the schools. Announcing the opportunity to 10th-grade students, encouraging students to apply, and screening applications takes a great deal of time. We appreciate the care and effort you devote to this project.
Nominations for the UW Summer HSI should be submitted to UW by principals of Wyoming high schools. In most high schools, one person (such as a counselor or a classroom teacher) is designated to coordinate the applications of interested and qualified students.

Each school may send up to 6 nominees, with equal males and female applicants. (3 males and 3 females)
It is the responsibility of each school to notify their students if their application was not sent to the UW Summer High School Institute.
