Wolf Spider:

Some people confuse certain wolf spiders for the brown recluse, but wolf spiders lack a fiddle-shape on the cephalothorax. Other wolf spiders are confused for tarantulas. The wolf spider's appearance might seem imposing, but it isn't poisonous. They prefer to live outdoors, but sometimes reside in basements during the winter.
