IT Computing Surveys – Spring 2014
The Division of Information Technology asked students, faculty and staff to respond to an on-line survey in April of 2014 to help IT improve service offerings and support. Respondents who completed the survey were entered to win their choice of an iPad Mini, Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Paperwhite, Apple iPod touch, Xbox 360, or Canon PowerShot.
The 2014 Student Computer Survey win was Thomas Bernard Rochais. He is an international student from France, who is fond of everything related to Astronomy. He is a triple major in Astronomy, Mathematics, and Physics at UW. He is also pursuing a minor in Computer Science and is part of the Honors Program. After graduating he intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Astrophysics. He is also an Assistant Boy Scouts in France, who enjoys camping, helping organize camps for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, hiking and playing table-tennis in his free time.
The 2014 Faculty/Staff Computing Survey winner was Joyce Gore. She is the Senior Office Associate for the UW Art Museum. There she works on coordinating the Art Museum events such as the Happy Holidays Laramie and the elegant Gala every year, oversees the front desk staff, and assists with any needs of the Chief Curator and Director of the museum. She is passionate about working to make the museum the most it can be to UW, the community and state. Outside of work she enjoys yoga and snowboarding. She enjoys working with her husband on making custom "chopper-bikes" and cooking unique and healthy dishes.
Thanks to all who responded to the surveys.
