Kara has been extremely active in the Natural Resources curriculum at the College of Law and participated in the Natural Resources Field Course this summer. With a strong scientific background, Kara chose to participate in the Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources (EENR) Clinic in order to gain experience with natural resource and energy law from a practical standpoint. Serving as the Director for the Clinic also affords her the opportunity to work closely with other students in the Clinic, as well as practitioners around the state in the area of natural resource and energy law.

In addition to her academic achievements, Kara is also an accomplished endurance athlete and competitor. She also enjoys anything that involves the great outdoors.
