Summer Student Clinic Director: Marshall Keller

Marshall served as the Clinic Director for the Summer of 2019. With a military background, Marshall moved around a lot, but spent a substantial amount of time in Butte, Mont., and now calls Gillette, Wyo. his home.

After spending six years as a Navy SEAL in the United States Navy, he earned his Bachelors Degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Montana Tech in 1997. He worked for several years in the energy industry in Wyoming before deciding to attend law school.

During his law school career, Marshall has been involved in the Federalist Society where he served as the club’s treasurer, and also was a member of Wyoming Law Student’s for Equal Justice. In the summer of 2018, he clerked for the Honorable Michael Deegan in the District Court of Wyoming for the Sixth Judicial District.

Truly driven by the mission of the clinics, Marshall wanted to serve as a Clinic Director and work in the clinic to help clients that would not otherwise receive representation, and to also gain experience in a wide variety of legal issues seen in a general law practice. He hopes to take the experience he has gained and apply his knowledge to become a small town country lawyer in Wyoming.
