The Wyoming Bouldering Series semifinal will be held Saturday, Jan. 26,
at the University of Wyoming climbing wall in Half Acre Gym.
The event is estimated to draw more than 80 climbers from across the
state and the region, says Dan McCoy, UW Outdoor Adventure Program
coordinator. The series offers categories for intermediate and advanced
climbing routes for men and women. Prizes will be awarded to top
finishers and there will be a drawing for items from national and
regional sponsors.
Registration for the semifinal is Saturday, Jan. 26, from 4-6 p.m. at
the climbing wall, and nonmembers of Campus Recreation must pay $5 at
the Half Acre front desk. The competition costs $15 for UW students and
$20 for nonmembers. The event will run from 5-7 p.m. for female climbers
and 5-9 p.m. for male climbers.
