Scenes from a recent statewide student robotics competition will be among segments during a public affairs program Thursday, June 19, at 7:30 p.m. on KCWC, Wyoming Public Television.
The University of Wyoming series, "Wyoming Signatures," will feature a segment on the 46 teams of nine- to 14-year-olds attempting to create clean and efficient energy delivery systems. During a recent climate conference, the students had to make their robotic systems using Legos.
Also on the program is Wyoming writer Jeanne Rogers, who will discuss her prose and poetry. Another segment is a short documentary that combines original works of art by students led by a master teacher to offer a unique learning experience at the UW Art Museum.
"Wyoming Signatures" is produced by UW Television. KCWC can be seen off-air or via cable in communities throughout Wyoming, including Casper, Cheyenne, Laramie, Riverton, Lander, Rock Springs, Green River, Powell, Cody, Sheridan, Gillette, Jackson, Pinedale and Big Piney.
