Campus Sustainability Committee Unveils New Logo during Earth Week

April 19, 2010

The University of Wyoming Campus Sustainability Committee (CSC) has chosen a logo to symbolize sustainability efforts across campus.

The winning entry, designed by UW senior Tony Richard of Laramie, features a brown and gold tree with three green leaves, representing students, staff and faculty working together toward sustainability. Richard was awarded $300 for his design.

The logo will be introduced to the campus community on Earth Day, April 22. It will be included on water bottles being given out for campus cleanup participants, posted on the CSC Web site (www.uwyo.edu/sustainability) and will also be used on banners, handouts and CSC documents

Earth Week runs through April 24. Educational and celebratory activities will take place all over campus and in the Laramie community. For a full schedule of Earth Week events, visit here.
