Colorado musicians, Eric Thorin and David Richey, will perform a free bluegrass concert from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the University of Wyoming Simpson Plaza.

The duo will perform bluegrass with their bass and dobro guitar.

Thorin currently tours with the Drew Emmit Band, Brother Mule, Jake Schepps Expedition, and has been playing with Open Road since summer 2002. He has worked as a guest artist and clinician at the Yellowstone Jazz Festival, Augusta Heritage Center, Grand Targhee Bluegrass Academy and Sorrento, BC Bluegrass School.

Richey plays in Dave Richey and The Ruined Nation Boys group. Richey collaborated with Grammy award-winning producers Sally Van Meter and Gene Libbea for his first solo recording, "No Peace of Mind."

"David's voice is the perfect vehicle for any soulful, lonesome, sorrowful or lonely country tune he wraps his vocal cords around as witnessed on this wonderful CD," says David McIntyre of The Lyons Recorder.
