UW Music Professor Bob Belser will conduct the Laramie Municipal Band this summer.
The Laramie Municipal Band's seven-concert season begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at the Washington Park band shell.
Concerts continue every Wednesday through July 27. The band will perform Monday morning, July 4, at Laramie's "Freedom Has a Birthday" celebration. Bob Belser, director of bands at the University of Wyoming, will conduct the Laramie Municipal Band, which includes community members, UW students, faculty and staff.
Rich Hopkins, band director at Laramie Junior High School, will conduct June 22, and Brad Williamson, conductor of UW's Western Thunder Marching Band, will lead the June 29 concert.
