Brian Sebade is the new sustainable management of rangeland resources extension educator for northeast Wyoming. He is based in the Crook County office of the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES) and covers Campbell, Johnson, Sheridan and Weston counties.
A UW graduate, Sebade received his bachelor's degree in 2008 and master's degree in 2010 in rangeland ecology and watershed management.
"Brian brings experience as a research assistant and forestry technician to the position," says Susan James, UW CES federal relations and staff development coordinator. "Brian gained critical thinking and problem-solving skills through his education and past work experience, which will be an asset when working with sustainable rangeland resources issues."
Sebade fills the position previously held by Gene Gade, who is serving as interim associate director for CES. Gade plans to retire this summer.
