The Sunshine House will perform a free concert from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at the University of Wyoming Simpson Plaza.
The sextet from Fort Collins, Colo., plays instruments ranging from cello, violin, electric guitar and various percussions.
Often labeled as indie folk pop, The Sunshine House's influences span from the roots of folk in Bob Dylan to a more ambient Sigur Ros.
"The Sunshine House is also fond of lush, orchestrated and melancholy pop and contradictory moods," says Eryc Eyl from the Denver Post's Hey Reverb. Eyl says the band hasn't been together for long, but will most likely make its mark on Colorado music lovers as it continues to mature and blossom.
