The new Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center gate will begin operating Friday, March 9, at 7 p.m.
The gate is located at the alley entrance west of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center, off Lewis Street midway between 9th and 10th streets. It will be open from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. on UW business days to allow authorized vehicles access to the interior part of campus. The gate will close at 7 p.m. business days and will be closed on weekends and university holidays. Access will be restricted to emergency vehicles, UW service vehicles, a limited number of authorized delivery vehicles and UW personnel with valid disability parking permits.
Authorized vehicles will need either a gate specific card or WyoOne ID card with the necessary permissions to open the gate. Gate access and cards will be administered through the WyoOne ID Office.
Each UW department with service or delivery vehicles, plus individuals with valid reasons to enter the gate outside of regular hours must request access on an annual basis. Application forms and a map are available at www.uwyo.edu/berrygate and should be completed and submitted electronically. Gate applicants may expect to receive email notification of the decision within five business days.
