A drumming workshop, informational sessions, a cultural show and a dinner are among activities scheduled during African Awareness Week Monday, Feb. 22-Saturday, Feb. 27, at the University of Wyoming.
The Wyoming African Student Association (WASA) sponsors “The New Africa”-themed week of events.
The week’s schedule:
Monday, Feb. 22 -- Country display tables, 12:30-1:30 p.m., Wyoming Union breezeway.
Tuesday, Feb. 23 -- Drumming workshop, noon-1 p.m., Wyoming Union skylight lounge.
Wednesday, Feb. 24 -- Game show, noon-1 p.m., Wyoming Union skylight lounge.
Thursday, Feb. 25 -- Interactive session, 5:15-6:15 p.m., College of Business Building, Room 127.
Saturday, Feb. 27 -- Cultural show, 4-6 p.m., College of Education auditorium; and a dinner, 6:30-10:30 p.m., Wyoming Union Ballroom.
