The Lonesome Heroes will bring its brand of indie rock and country music to the University of Wyoming Summer Programs concert series Wednesday, June 14, from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. on Simpson Plaza. The event is free and open to the public, and food will be available for purchase.
The Austin, Texas-based band hails from the “Live Music Capital of the World,” but its sound suggests it originates from a parallel universe where the works of Gram Parsons, Beck and Wilco propagate.
Since the release of their sophomore album, “Can’t Stand Still,” in January 2015, the troubadours have played more than 100 U.S. dates, explored new continents and gained accolades along the way. For more information, visit the group’s website at www.thelonesomeheroes.com.
