A workshop to help attendees learn implicit bias and microaggressions in the workplace is scheduled at the University of Wyoming Tuesday, April 2.
The UW Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion sponsors the latest training workshop from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Room 115 of Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center. The session is open to the campus community, including students. Attendees are urged to bring their own lunch.
The UW Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is offering a series of diverse workshops during the spring semester.
“This workshop offers the opportunity for employees to learn about implicit bias and microaggressions, and practice interrupting and stopping them,” says Emily Monago, UW’s chief diversity officer who leads all of the workshops.
