University Store, Copy and Print Center Offer Services to UW Faculty, Staff During COVID

The University Store, and the Copy and Print Center, both located in the University of Wyoming Union, are currently closed as part of the COVID-19 closure of campus facilities to the public, but faculty and staff members can still access their services.

During the Wyoming Union closure, the University Store is available online at www.uwyostore.com.

Some guidelines to help UW faculty and staff during this time are:

-- UW employees can place departmental orders for needed supplies and products via the website at www.uwyostore.com, by calling 766-3264 or by emailing uwyo-bookstore@uwyo.edu.

-- During the closure, dockside delivery will be available at the University Store loading dock, located on the northeast corner of the building facing the Wyoming Union parking lot, directly across from the Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center’s side entrance. This option will be available by appointment. To place an order, employees can access the website at www.uwyostore.com, select “Dockside Delivery” as the shipping method, select “AR/Student Account/Department Account” as the payment method, and enter the department name as the “W” number. Orders also can be placed by phone at 766-3264 or by email at uwyo-bookstore@uwyo.edu.

-- During the closure, the University Store has made accommodations for delivery of personal orders as well. Online orders within Laramie city limits are eligible for free in-town delivery. To use this option, customers can select “Dockside Delivery” as their delivery method at checkout and indicate in the comment box that delivery is requested. The University Store staff will then contact the customer to schedule a delivery time.

-- In order to address changing technology needs caused by telecommuting and online course delivery, the University Store offers online tech consultation hours from 10 a.m-2 p.m. Monday-Friday. For technology questions and to purchase the devices and accessories needed, UW employees can call 766-3264. Outside of those hours, employees can email uwyostore-tech@uwyo.edu or leave a voicemail, and a tech associate will respond as soon as possible.

“The University Store is available to support the UW community during the campus public facilities closure,” says Rachel Stevens, Wyoming Union public relations coordinator.

Although the Wyoming Union is closed at this time, UW’s Copy and Print Center is accepting orders via email at print@uwyo.edu and through the online ordering system here.

Delivery arrangements will be made on campus on a case-by-case basis. Payment by credit card will be accepted by calling 766-3890 or emailing print@uwyo.edu. Payments also will be accepted by accessing the website here or through interdepartmental transfer.

“Please provide ample time for completion of your print requests, as staff is limited during this time,” says Stephanie Lownds, UW Residence Life and Dining Services marketing and campus relations coordinator.
