UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host Business Fitness Webinar Sept. 28

Small-business owners will have an opportunity to delve deep into business financials Thursday, Sept. 28.

Pete Mancuso and Rob Condie will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network business fitness webinar titled “The Ins and Outs of Business Financials” from noon-1 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

This webinar will dive into the differences between the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet. The webinar also will go into more detail on the different types of accounts and subaccounts small-business owners may encounter as they learn about business accounting. This webinar will be helpful for entrepreneurs who are already in business as well as those who have yet to launch.

Mancuso is a certified public accountant at Hallows & Co., a full-service accounting firm -- with offices in Rock Springs and three locations in Utah -- that specializes in small businesses. Condie is the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater and Uinta counties.

For more information, call Maureen Johnson, marketing, communication and database manager for the Wyoming SBDC Network, at (307) 343-0925 or email mjohn125@uwyo.edu.
